Hope you find some useful stuff, using Cadence Allegro. Feedback welcome.
Texas Instruments has a great Online tool, TI Webench to design Voltage
Regulators and more. It makes it seamlessly easy to customize a DC
Regulator for example. It's huge, cool, a time saver.
DC Regulators, every circuit needs some power.
Maxim did have a Webinar, showing of differences, in topology and their new power module. It's short, and informative. The module is also really small.

Changing layers on a larger board, can take a lots of mouse clicks.
If you know what layers you need, keyboard short-cuts are great.
Created a bunch of scripts, that lets you easy add and subtract layers, what are current active.
Without walking the menu. Helps reduce the eyestrain too.
As a old school PCB Designer grew up on Unix
Workstations, as such a Unix Shell was standard. With it
came the use of scripts , to do things.
Since Engineers need a way to view allegro board files.
And the Orcad Lite has more functionality , why not use that.
Intro Post: As a PCB Designer using Cadence Allegro Software, there are few things to share.
Between routing and placement, lots of time we'd need to change the grid.
Clicking on the menu, and typing in the numbers is time consuming.
Created some scripts, in combination with an alias, is pretty slick and fast to change the grids.
